3When I was little I used to love watching football and basketball, but I always preferred to actually play sports than watch them. I guess people who love sports enjoy watching them because the players play at the ultimate level possible, a level that we could only dream of playing, and they make it look so freaking easy. Right now I’m really into baseball, tennis, and soccer.

4There are many reasons people love sports.
First of all, I think most of us would love to be doing what these guys do. They make tons of money doing something they love to do.
I also think there is a sense of pride when our teams win.
Also,
I think they are just entertaining and it gives people lots to talk about.
And then there are those that think they are cool because they know a lot about sports and think girls care about that.
I’m sure there are many more reasons, it just depends on the person.

5I don’t hate sports, though most of my friends would say I do. For me, watching a game is boring. I’d equate sports watching to movie watching, entertainment. Sports has the added element of realism…not to mention a lot more people are involved, so this would definitely be exciting to a fan.
I’ve always thought the hardcore fanatics obsess about sports because of some deep-rooted desire to be out on the field themselves, practicing all that makes a man a “man”.
Besides, everyone needs a hobby. One guy goes to a Winter game in shorts and T-shirt to support his team…another guy plays WoW for 16 hours straight, leveling up his character. Who’s to say one is better than the other?

7Sports are unscripted drama/comedy…
There are too many variations of the same theme in the movies. —- Boy meets girl, boy looses girl/death.
Call it Romeo and Juliet, Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind, King Kong, etc. it’s the same story being disguised with some other backdrop.
Sports is a pure form of entertainment, with little special effects on t.v.

8I think for me it is the anticipation of who wins. I enjoy watching football and hockey.

9I am not a sports hater… but I am not a sports watcher either… although, I enjoy watching gymnastics and figure skating because both require flexibility and usually have pretty cool costumes.

10I hate sports. Pointless wastes of time and money. I hate sports fans, especially sports fan clients who don’t like the color scheme of a piece you’ve done because it reminds them of their ‘rivals’ colors. Stupid idiots! Why should sports play such a huge part of our lives? Who decided this?
